Congratulations!  Mission complete!  You have just finished a journey in which some professionals may spend an entire career trying to achieve!  You have followed in the footsteps of scientists that look to the past to answer questions of today. 

The field of science is for inquiring minds:  it is the thrill of discovering what no man before you has known, interpreting your findings into meaningful information, and contributing to our understanding of the world today.  If you:
  • have a curious mind,
  • enjoy learning, researching and writing,
  • seek challenges and opportunities that allow you to expand your thought,
  • are excited about the prospect of contributing to current understandings of the world as it is today,
  • want to make predictions about the world as it will be tomorrow,
then a career in the field of science just may be worth exploring further!  There are hundreds of different types of science in which a person can study; archaeology and paleontology are just two examples.  Chances are, whatever your interest, there is a field of science for you!   If you are interested in learning more, please talk to your parents and teachers to learn all of your options available.
