Task #3:  plan dig

Congratulations!  You are finally ready to put all of your expertise to the test on your first field assignment!  A field assignment is a mission in itself in which a group of scientists determine an area to excavate in search of fossils or remains of ancient civilization or of prehistoric creatures.  Much preparation goes into a field excavation.  Your task is to work with your group from your previous task, and prepare a list of what you will need to take for the excavation.  This is a collaborative effort so teamwork and communication is a must and the excavation list will need to be extensive.
1.  Review the websites provided about your specific field digs; learn more about what is involved in an excavation and what tools, supplies, food, shelter that might be necessary.

2.  After you feel prepared to make your list, you will access the below link to the Google document titled Excavation Supply List.  Each member of your group is expected to add at least 10 items to the list that will aid in the excavation.  You should state what you are bringing and why you are bringing it.
